The Game of Thrones Season 7 the fantasy television drama is set to be released on HBO on July 16, 2017, and achieve six weeks later on August 27, 2017. Unlike the previous season that all consist the ten episodes, but the seventh season is only comprised the seven episodes. In the past seasons, it will primarily consist of original content currently not found in the George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series,  but it also adapts the material from the upcoming sixth and seventh novels The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring. This series was adapted for television by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss.

The HBO ordered the seventh season on April 21, 2016, the three days before the before the premiere of the show’s sixth season and began the filming on August 31, 2016. This season was filmed primarily in Northern Ireland, Iceland, and Spain. The Game of Thrones features the large number of the cast, which is included Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. In this season they will also introduce the several new casts, including Tom Hopper and Jim Broadbent.

On 2016 April, 21, HBO has officially offered the seventh season of Game of Thrones, just three days preceding for the premiere of the sixth season of the show. According to the interview with co-creators D. B. Weiss and David Benioff, the seventh season would likely to consist fewer episodes, starting at the time of interview that it would down to the final 13 episodes after the season, and we are heading into the final lap. Director Jack Bender, who worked with the sixth season, said that the seventh season likely to consist seven episodes. The Weiss and David Benioff stat they were not able to produce ten episodes into the show 12 to the 14-month time frame and Weiss said that “it is crossing out of a television schedule into more of the mid range movie schedule.”

The series creator and an executive producer D. B. Weiss and David Benioff will serve the show runners for the seventh season. The director of the seventh season is the Mark Mylod (episode 2 and 3) Alan Taylor (episode 6) Jeremy Podeswa (episode 1 and 7) and Matt Shakman (episode 4 and 5). This marks Taylor’s for this series after the absence for the second season. The Shakman is the first time Game of Thrones director, with the rest of each having the directed multiple episodes in the previous season. The Michele Clapton is returning to the show as a costume designer, after spending some time away from the show in the sixth season. She was previously working on the series for the first five seasons, as well as an end for the sixth season.
